Being named Michael can either be bad or good, it would honestly depend on how you look at it.
I am named Michael and so are millions of other people though out this world, and I also know that it was one of the most popular baby names in the US for the 80's 90's and Possibly even the 000's (tripple O's).
Is this a bad thing? I wouldn't think so because my last name is something that probably very very few people actually have. Just me. So that makes it easy for me when it comes to security and other things, because checking for my name is simple and doesn't create a conflict. But, what if your last name was Smith? Michael Smith is probably the most common name in the world. Well maybe not in the world but in the US.
If your name was Michael Smith then what kind of credit report would you have? Would you be able to get a proper security clearance, join the millitary, or even buy a car without having to produce Original Copies of your Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and Drivers Licence.
Having a common name is not aways a bad thing. Lets say that you were in Vegas and met some Girl. She took you back to the room and well, she was/got pregnant. You didn't rent the room your friend did so your name wasn't on anything. That night she somehow got your full name, maybe from your business cards or your credit card you used to pay for that drink.
About 10 years later you get a phone call. Its probably that whore that you slept with in vegas. She is trying to locate the father of her child. Now you have a choice. Just Guessing that you might actually have a child from Vegas and listening to this woman ask you personal questions about 10 years ago or you can just say, "I have never been to Vegas" she then will hang up and call the next guy on the list. You see this was some slutty girl from Vegas and you probably were never the father in the first place but she just wanted some monitary support.
Well, I'm not sure, but I know the right thing to do would probably go get a DNA test to see if you are actually the father of that child. But would you? I don't know if you I would, because I would probably be in so much denial that I couldn't an would refuse to. So I probably would just say I have never been to Vegas.
